Application for the conservator position

I'm writing in reply to your advertisement in the New York Times. As request I'm enclosing a completed job application, my certification, my resume and two references. The opportunity presented in this listing is very interesting and I think my abilities meet your claims. It's one of my hobbys to restore old things, from paintings to bildings and until now I've already got a quite worth seeing collection of building plans. After I findished the study of preserve & restore I have been working for two years for a furniture designer, where I completed my practical training period. In addition I made good experiences with joiners work an I'm quite good at drawing, painting and planing. It's the idea of making old things new that fascinates me at being a conservator.
I believe that my strong experience in many areas and my education will make me a very competitive candidate for this position.
